Becoming a Member
LRFRE is a unique opportunity for professionals engaged in fundraising efforts in the charitable sector to network, share ideas, and learn. The organization strives for excellence by expanding the opportunities for continuing education and promoting a standard of ethical practices and code of conduct for those working in the fundraising field.
You can now purchase your 2010 LRFRE membership that will be valid from January 2010 to December 2010. The early-bird Individual Membership rate is $125.00 if you register by Thursday, January 21, 2010. Check out the LRFRE membership rates and other exciting benefits at the bottom of this page.

All you need to do is fill out the 2010 LRFRE Membership Form and bring it with you to one of our next meetings OR you can send a completed 2010 LRFRE Membership Form and cheque to us in the mail!

CAREER DEVELOPMENT: Formal meetings focus on various topics including career development, professional ethics, fund raising methodology and volunteerism.

CONFERENCES: Our bi-annual conference is valuable for both novice fundraisers and seasoned veterans. Topics tackle complex subjects of current issues. Members receive a discount in the conference fee.

NEWSLETTERS: A monthly e-newsletter informs members of upcoming meetings, career opportunities, regulatory changes, member news and profiles, as well as unusual or thought-provoking fund raising news.

DIRECTORY: The LRFRE membership directory enhances member interaction and communication, and helps foster a greater collaboration in the local non-profit sector.

Conditions of membership:
